This book not only introduces children to familiar animals but also draws their attention to each animal’s weird and unique physical features. There’s the rooster’s cockscomb that looks like a fireball and the deer horns that look like tree branches. This text, smartly enough, makes the child relates these physical differences to his own unique features and, thus, accepts them happily and smoothly.
