As part of the Onomatopoeia of Happiness project, I created a participatory installation inviting everyone to explore the sonic resonances of their moments of happiness.
Happiness, a sonic abstraction, manifests in personal and fleeting resonances. Take a moment to explore the texture of the moments that move you, those where existence pulses with intensity. What sound emerges from these intimate fragments? Is it subtle or piercing, continuous or brief? Let this vibratory memory translate into an onomatopoeia, a raw and instinctive sound. Write it down, describe it, or draw it, contributing to a collective installation where individual echoes meet, creating an auditory map of our shared joys.
